For got to comment on show here. The sound is outstanding, building was odd. The boys loved upstate shows for sure. Just look at any year upstate NY and they play lights out. This tour was a blast we got the Stephen and Revolution along with Crazy Fingers in Richmond. Imagine if they did do Here Comes Sunshine here. I can only imagine the set lists in the next few years if they decided to break it out here.
I only attended 5 or so sober shows because once I got sober in 89 I was not interested in there sound any longer. Thank you for your work in helping others.
Funny and rude wharf rats story at the shoreline shows in 87 88 or 89 I forget cause the years all become one after some time. I was dope sick as could be and someone came up to me with a flyer on the wharf rats and "how if I were sick and tired of being sick I could join them at the balloon's. Me in my stupor turned around and there was my dope man.I got well and too the flyer and crumpled it up as if to say not me not today. Well funny thing is years later still sober and love the music still not the later years though.

I had to leave during Drums as I was soooo dosed all I could see was flames consuming Jerry and Bob. Went out into the hallway and sat against the wall and the vibrations made me think my soul was breaking into tiny little pieces. Finally went outside and listened to the rest of the show on the lawn. A 5th of Jim Beam did nothing to bring me down. The only "foxhole" prayer I ever said about my drug use was that night. 10 months later on Jerry's B-Day I wound up in treatment. Helped start The Wharf Rats in '85 and have been clean almost 25 years. The funny thing about this show, or what happened, is that we were driving at night to Saratoga Springs from Ohio during the 85 summer tour. I suddenly woke up out of a deep sleep as if someone , or thing, was calling me. I asked where we were and the driver said "Syracuse". Maybe a lost piece of my soul was still looking for me.

Very nice Aud. Surprised that no one has mentioned the ~15 sec of 2001 Space Odyssey Tuning caught prior to Terrapin. I think that's because it's cut out of the other versions here. Is that Sci-Fi Jerry again?

Ol' Jer sounded worn out in Hartford, but this show he and bob were both snarling and graceful at the same time. Anybody tell me that this isn't one of the best openers with Shake and bake to a growling Wang Dang Doodle is kidding themselves. I was at this show. What and echo fest, but the cavern does well for Healy's sound on this show.

The big Dome was ROCKING back in '83 in Upstate New York!!! There is nothing like hanging out at Fall Shows in the Northeast during harvest season!

This year's Dead Reunion shows in Albany are surely going to be a treat, no doubt!

And it still gives me chills.
